Susu Hauser is an accomplished cinematographer and photographer having produced Emmy award winning shows including Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers, Wicked Tuna, Ax Men and Wild Justice, among others. Since 2005, she has worked on shows airing on National Geographic, Discovery Channel and the History Channel. Her nationally acclaimed and unique style of photography is regularly published on the National Geographic and Discovery Channel websites.

With an interest in film and photography at an early age, Susu began her career toying around in the darkroom at American University in Washington, D.C. During college she published sports photography for The Eagle, documented anti-war protests for her photojournalism classes, and interned at NBC’s George Michael Sports Machine.

For Susu, photography and travel go hand in hand. She has an insatiable thirst for diverse cultures, foreign lands and exploration. Whether skydiving over Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand, trekking the hill tribes of Northern Thailand, or diving the Great Barrier Reef, adventure has been Susu’s lifeblood. Her career has allowed this synergy to become a reality.

Susu Hauser is based in Boulder, CO and holds a B.A. in Visual Media Communications from American University.
